The SIHD-SIAL connectors combine the benefits of the SIHD connectors with the modularity, which allows the addition of power (20Amp), coaxial contacts (AWG 12 and 16) and optical termini.
The metallic housing also confers a very high reliability to the system. In operation, even with the presence of coaxial and power contacts or optical termini, the system features permissible lateral displacement of the plug within the receptacle of up to ± 0.25 mm, to allow the use of thermal clamps.
The design features up to 392 signal contacts, arranged in 5 rows.18, 58, 98, 156, 254, 312. 352, 392 signal contact versions available.Coaxial modules available: 3 # AWG 12 (can be multiplicated) 5 # AWG 16 (can be multiplicated) SIHD-SIAL connectors are available for surface mount and through hole PCB‘s and easily withstand the rigours of soldering operations including vapor phase, infrared reflow. wave processes, hot-air and hot-bar.
