The 38999 Power Safe connectors are designed to transmit high power with voltages from 250 V to 500 V.
Those connectors are directly derived from the standard MIL-DTL-38999 III, with the same environmental
characteristics. Their main benefit is to provide a real user safety,
due to a first-to-mate earth contact directly linked to the shell.
The last-to-mate/first-to-break pilot contact allows the mating and unmating without power. |
