Amphenol EMI/EMP Protection Connectors offer the versatility of standard connectors with EMI/EMP protection for sensitive circuits. Internal housing of the EMI/EMP devices eliminates costly and bulky exterior discrete protection devices.
AAO's EMI solutions are comprised of specialized filter networks. Through the use of both tubular and planar capacitors. we offer maximum design versatility to meet the needs of any unique application. When the capacitor is combined with an inductor, virtually endless filter networks can be achieved. Some popular filters include ''C'',Pi, ''LC'', CL, ''T'', and many others. The working voltage, dielektric withstand, and contact spacing requirements will dictate the maximum amount of capacitance that can be incorporated into the filter. However, as much as 1.6 microfarads can be achieved. AAOs EMP solutions are achieved via the use of diodes and/or MOV devices. Compatible with the EMI connector assemblies, the EMP devices can be combined in series with the EMI filters.
